Solve the Warning in Blogger : Missing required field "updated"

Warning: Missing required field "updated" and Warning: Missing required hCard "author" are two common warning / error messages which you get while using Google Webmaster Structured data testing tool  determining the structure of the blog hosted by Blogger. The method is very simple and easy to solve this problem. You can solve it easily with smiley face. Now to the Point, let’s start 

Most important: Before making any change or proceeding further please make a backup off your blog. The process of making backup is very simple. 

Login to Blogger Dashboard › Select Blog › Click on Template › Backup/ Restore › Download Full Template. This will save a backup off your blog to your Hard Drive. 
Backup / Restore

First Method:

  • Login to Blogger › Blogger Dashboard › Select Blog › Template › Edit HTML
  • A text box with coding will appear now click anywhere on the coding and search (Press Ctrl+F) for 'hfeed' and 'hentry' one  by one and rename all ‘hfeed’ and ‘hentry’ with 'h-feed' and 'h-entry' respectively. 
  • Click Save Template, 
         Now type your blog address in box and Check for authorship markup warnings / errors with Rich Snippet testing tool .

Second Method:

  • Login to Blogger › Blogger Dashboard › Select Blog › Template › Edit HTML
  • Now search for timestamp-link or published  like below

<a class='timestamp-link' expr:href='data:post.url' rel='bookmark' title='permanent link'><abbrclass='published' expr:title='data:post.timestampISO8601'><data:post.timestamp/></abbr></a>

  • Now change it with the code below.
